The Requiem in Red

The Requiem in Red was created in 2016 and was inspired by listening to Brahm’s Requiem during a season of grief, having lost my father and one of our pregnancies that year. The mosaic was created from a charcoal drawing I made while listening to the second movement. The lines express some of the emotions of my grief – intensity of spirit, chaos, confusion and anger.
